Flash Fiction Week 2026 Contest

We are looking for flash fiction stories no longer than 500 words. If your story is 501 words long it will be disqualified. Simultaneous submissions, submissions of reprints (stories or poems previously published in print or online) and multiple submissions are welcome — but please if you want to enter more than one story, enter each as separate submissions. The top five submissions in each contest will be posted on CommuterLit the week of June 15-19, 2026 and receive cash prizes:
First-place: CAD$100 Second-place: CAD$50 (3) Runners-up: CAD$25
